I used to be emotionally spent. “Why?” kept ringing in my mind like an annoying gnat bumping into my face. I had come to the top of myself. I couldn’t strategize a strategy to fix my situation. This level of vulnerability and uncertainty was frustrating. I experienced disappointment, loss, and emotional rollercoasters that had me dizzier than any ride a theme park could construct. I used to be stuck in emotional despair. My perspective of His everlasting love and compassion was skewed by my scars, yet I loved God. How could I rise from this depth of spiritual desperation to live in hope again? It’s funny how God speaks in response to our deepest cries. He used a tree to remind me to be resolute in my considering and trust in Him. When I have a look at trees, I see stability and strength. I need my life to reflect the identical thing, don’t you? Let’s have a look at someone within the scriptures who experienced disappointment, loss, and emotional upheavals despite a deep resolve to follow God’s leading.
David, the beloved king within the lineage of Jesus, wrote Psalm 52 after he had been betrayed by an onlooker within the temple.
