THE Church Times Train-A-Priest (TAP) Fund appeal has been open just over every week now. Already, generous readers have contributed £10,570.82. (This is along with a legacy, which added almost £80,000 to the kitty last 12 months.) Thank you.
In 2026, the TAP Fund will once more support those with a calling to serve within the Church of England. For the primary time, TAP grants might be available not simply to ordinands facing financial hardship, but in addition to people at an earlier stage of exploring their vocation. Our hope is that the provision of TAP grants will help to widen access by removing a few of the barriers to participation for people from less financially secure situations.
