The term forgiveness is now even utilized by secularist preachers on public television. They discuss forgiving, but they do not understand the need and absolutely the requirement for believers to forgive and to forgive quickly.
Because now we have been forgiven, we forgive quickly. God taught me that lesson early in my Christian walk.
I spotted that each time I hold a grudge, whilst a young Christian, my life is just not blessed. I do not feel God’s anointing or favor.
The Lord began to show me from His Word the importance of being quick to forgive. It is for my blessing, His glory, and the opposite person’s joy. When I pray for someone I actually have forgiven, I at all times pray for God to bless them. I do know this is just not easy, but I’m asking you to try.
You’ll see that as you do it, it becomes easier and easier, and then you definately will probably be the recipient of joy in being quick to forgive. God bless.
