THANK you to readers who responded to last week’s request to donate to the Church Times Train-A-Priest (TAP) Fund appeal: the full raised to date is now in double figures: £11,579.51.
We are still a great distance off last 12 months’s total of £45,0000, nonetheless. As prior to now 4 years, every penny raised will go to ordinands in Africa as they prepare for ministry in difficult conditions. Thanks to a legacy of nearly £80,000, TAP grants proceed to be available to any English ordinands who experience financial difficulties. (These are disbursed by the Ministry Division.)
