If you desire to maintain your wife, spend money on her. Where your treasure is, there your heart can also be. This biblical principle means prioritizing her needs without going into debt or overspending. For example, if we each need recent cars, she gets hers first. If she wants to return to high school or travel, I’ll make it occur. I put money into things that make her life easier, like gadgets she enjoys, even when I believe they’re unnecessary. My goal is to indicate love by directing our funds to offer for and maintain her. That’s huge.
