Candace Cameron Bure on How to Add Bible Reading and Faith Into a Marriage

Marriage is among the best, most rewarding things about life. It can also be one of the crucial difficult things in life, requiring time, work, patience and beauty. Marriage is the union, the bringing together of two different individuals who is not going to at all times agree on every subject, including faith and religion.

In some marriages, a spouse is probably not open to hearing concerning the gospel and message of Jesus Christ. For whatever reason, they could be resistant even when the opposite person in the wedding is a believer and follower of Jesus Christ. Of course, this may result in tension and might even cause an argument or two.

However, in a clip posted on social media, Candace explains the best way to introduce that resistant spouse to Jesus Christ and to read the Bible. Like most things in life, we’re more more likely to persuade and win over individuals with actions than words, and Candace also suggests taking that approach.

“I believe, again, it just needs to be a part of your each day life,” she said. “So, you don’t necessarily must get your husband on board; you’ll be able to just do it.”

That husband or wife will then see those each day activities and that example. Those actions are a witness to that person.

“So, in case you don’t pray before meals, you don’t necessarily must ask your husband; you actually could,” Candace said. “But in case you just say, ‘Hey, I’d prefer to pray before we eat,’ just do it. Like, that’s an easy way of incorporating your faith.”

She also mentions asking in case your spouse wants to hitch you in reading the Bible or doing a selected devotional and in the event that they say refuse, still do it by yourself anyway.

Leading by example and actions reasonably than words is at all times the perfect option to show another person how serious you might be and the way much something means to you.

Hebrews 11:1 “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, and the sign that the things not seen are true.”
