How is social media treating you today? Have you picked up your Bible or been doing the mindless scroll? I say this as a note to myself because I find it really easy to get sucked right into a habit of just picking up my phone within the morning or picking it up throughout the day and just scrolling through social media that I have not even hardly touched base with God. The problem with that is, is there’s a lot in our world today that we are able to fill our hearts and minds with that if we aren’t embedding it with the reality and placing our sights on what is sweet, pure, noble, and right, as Philippians 4:8 says, we are able to easily get sucked into anxiety or depression and even bitterness as we infiltrate our heart with what the world says reasonably than what God tells us. If it is advisable to, step back, take a break, and dig into God’s word.
