The saying “you’re what you’re thinking that” has truth in it because what you’re thinking that becomes what you do. Proverbs 23:7 tell us, “For as he thinks in his heart, so is he.” So, should you want something to alter in your world, it’s good to start with changing what you’re thinking that. First, it’s good to change what you concentrate on yourself. Then, it’s good to change what you concentrate on normally. When you try this, you’ll be able to change your attitude about your situation and make an actual difference in your world.
The book of 1 Peter talks about how you need to view yourself as a Christian. Christians belong to God because we were bought with the blood of Christ. We are also His children, which suggests we’ve the Holy Spirit inside us, the identical power that resurrected Jesus from the grave. We have access to the ability that may change us and our situation, and even just change the best way we take into consideration our situation.
We also need to alter the things we take into consideration. Philippians 4:8-9 tells us to take into consideration things which might be true, honest, just, pure, lovely and of excellent report. Every day we’re inundated with negative and sometimes false information through social media and news media. Their goal is viewership, and nothing sells like bad news, but there continues to be good available on this world. It just takes a little bit more effort to see it. However, after we keep our give attention to God and spend more time within the Bible, we’re higher in a position to see God at work in our world, and that’s price excited about.
Changing your thoughts will change your attitude. A positive attitude goes a great distance toward changing your world.
