The Clerk of Works at Salisbury Cathedral, Gary Price, inspects stonework on the high eastern gable of the cathedral. The work on the gable was recognised last week with an award on the twenty second Natural Stone Awards Ceremony. The judges described the work as “of a consistent and exemplary representative quality”. The cathedral has been undergoing repairs for the past 37 years, and work is now happening to revive its cloisters. To help to fund the work, individuals are invited to sponsor a stone. salisburycathedral.org.uk
