A lady who was fatally shot outside a church in London on Saturday night has been named as Michelle Sadio.
The shooting is believed to have occurred after a wake on the River of Life Elim Pentecostal Church in Harlesden.Â
The 46 yr old mother’s family are being supported by police.Â
Two men of their 30s were seriously injured within the incident which saw a automobile pull up outside the church before shots were fired at a crowd of mourners.Â
One of the injured men stays in hospital in a critical condition. Â
No arrests have been made in reference to the attack and police are appealing for witnesses to return forward.Â
Superintendent Tony Josephs, from the North West Command Unit, said: “This is a really shocking incident that has left a lady dead and two others injured, and I understand the priority it will cause the local people and people across London.
“I would like to reassure those who a team of experienced detectives are already working at pace to piece together the events of last night and discover whoever was accountable for this heinous act of violence.
“If you were in or around Gifford Road on the time of the shooting, or have any details about who was responsible, please get involved with us. A family has been left devastated and we want to work together to supply them with answers.”
