Here’s the thing about feeling stuck: it often makes us feel like God’s forgotten about us, right? Like He’s gone radio silent and left us to figure all the pieces out on our own. But let me inform you, that’s not how it really works.
I’ve had moments where I used to be screaming, “God, where are You?” I used to be in my twenties, a single mom of two, attempting to determine what direction to take next. At that point, I felt like my life was a chaotic mess. I used to be exhausted from juggling work, kids, and my very own doubts about whether I used to be doing anything right. I didn’t know methods to balance all the pieces or what path I used to be imagined to be on.
I remember this one night—it was late, and the children were finally asleep. I used to be sitting on the couch, watching the ceiling, feeling completely lost. I hadn’t prayed shortly, but in that moment, I let all of it out: “God, I don’t know what I’m doing. I want You to step in because I can’t do that alone.”
And here’s the crazy part—I didn’t get some big, clear answer. There was no voice from the sky, no epiphany. But what I did get was a way of peace. A form of calm that permit me comprehend it was okay to not have all the pieces found out. That night, I ended asking God to indicate me the precise plan and commenced asking Him to walk with me through the uncertainty. And let me inform you, that made all of the difference. Instead of being consumed by my indecision, I began to trust that though I didn’t know what was next, He did.
If you’re in that place right away, feeling lost and confused, invite God into it. You don’t must have all of it together. Be real with Him. He’s not afraid of your mess, your doubts, or your indecision. He’s with you right in the midst of it.
