How We’re Missing the Point of Quiet Time with God

A quiet time. What is it? Why do we’d like it? Does it matter? And truthfully, the name is just a little bit perhaps weird. So, for those who’ve never heard of it before, it’s okay; you are not alone. There has type of turn into a trend of making a materialistic quiet time. And what I mean by that’s we’d like all of these things to satisfy God. A extremely fancy Bible, or we’d like a bunch of highlighters and fancy pens. Maybe we’d like stickers or coffee and music and a cute lounge. By the time we’re done, we could have this magnificent Instagram set showing  study the Bible. And we have actually missed the complete point. The goal of a quiet time ought to be intimacy with the Savior of your soul. That’s it. And the weather that make that possible are the Word of God and prayer.
