In what’s shaping as much as be a pivotal moment within the mission of the worldwide church, Christians from all over the world will make use of the most recent advances in technology to assemble together from all of the corners of the Earth. Gather25Â can be made possible through the collaboration of organisations including YouVersion, The Bible Project, OM, 24-7 Prayer International, the World Evangelical Alliance, Alpha Course and plenty of others who will work alongside regional partners and ministries to deliver an unprecedented global event.
Hosted in-person and virtually from six continents, Gather25 will use television broadcasts, radio, and live streams to enable Christians anywhere on this planet to participate from their homes, theatres, and native churches or attend one among the live broadcast sites in person.
Taking advantage of the most recent breakthroughs in real-time, simultaneous translation technology, Gather25 will make live music, teaching, prayers, and international stories of hope and faith available in multiple languages, reaching believers from everywhere in the world.
“For the primary time in history, the whole global Church is definitely in a position to gather. So we’re inviting all 2.5 billion individuals who love Jesus to come back together to hope, to see stories of the church, and to commission them to change into missionaries wherever they’re to achieve the ends of the earth,” said Jennie Allen, the founder and visionary behind Gather25.
Each continent will take a turn hosting a portion of the 25 hours, allowing local churches, ministries, and leaders to share stories of what God is doing of their a part of the world. They may also have the ability to guide times of worship, and encourage their congregations to exit and share the Gospel with a world that needs it desperately.
