Just 49% of Britons said they believed in God in 2022, down from 75% in 1981.
The UK public are actually among the many least likely internationally to imagine in God, following a long-term decline in belief for the reason that Eighties, in response to latest study by the Policy Institute at King’s College London.
Lower levels of belief amongst young individuals are helping drive this trend.
